Fall 2020

Conceptual urban environmental education center in Providence complete with classrooms, a greenhouse, public use spaces, and an extensive holding nursery. The primary goal for the center is to raise trees and subsequently distribute them to the rest of the city. Over the course of the semester, we analyzed a Providence project site and developed key diagrams and perspectival views to demonstrate the development of our schemes and their central concepts. The resulting design is a direct response to the unique conditions of this site and the needs of the program that is intended to occupy the site.
